A-Staffing Construction (218 million in revenue 2024) is part of the publicly traded Calviks AB (publ), Nasdaq Growth Market. A-Staffing Construction has over 15 years of experience working with project staffing of skilled workers and professionals in wood, concrete/reinforcement, and construction. We work with everything from smaller local projects, new residential and commercial properties to larger infrastructure projects such as tunnels and bridges.
The company has long been a leader in concrete and reinforcement work, with a very good reputation in the industry and has participated in several major projects across Sweden such as the Barkaby Tunnel, Korsvägen-Västlänken, Kaj 16, Centralstation-Västlänken, and Karlatornet, among others.

Business Area Manager Gothenburg for A-Staffing Construction
We are looking for a driven and experienced leader from the construction or civil engineering sector who wants to further develop a strong and well-established business throughout Sweden, based in Gothenburg. The company is entering an exciting phase where the focus is on developing the business, strengthening the methods of project staffing in large contracting projects. After a period of high workload and organizational challenges, they now want to scale up by strengthening leadership, creating structure, and continuing to grow sustainably. The person will have a central role, in close collaboration with the CEO, to create stability, build long-term customer relationships, and contribute to the growth of employees in their roles.
Responsibilities and Tasks
The Business Area Manager is responsible for driving and developing the business area towards profitable growth. The role involves taking a comprehensive approach to the business, from strategy to operational implementation, as well as building up structures, processes, and methods that support a sustainable and efficient organization.
- Contribute to the development and profitability of the business area
- Build and further develop structures, processes, and methods for project staffing
- Work closely with the CEO and office manager on business strategic issues and customer relationships
- Follow up on ongoing projects in concrete, civil engineering, and construction
- Monitor key figures, results, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop long-term customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within the construction sector
- Actively contribute to overall strategic work.
Knowledge and Experience
- Relevant post-secondary education in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure, or equivalent experience from the industry
- Experience in a leading role within the construction or civil engineering industry, for example as Site Manager, Project Manager, or Operations Manager. Alternatively, you have run your own construction company.
- Desirable experience in concrete, reinforcement, and larger infrastructure projects or other experience with large projects in construction
- Good understanding of project management
- Ability to build trust, drive change, and create engagement
